We had a tour round the castle grounds with Martin. It was really interesting learning all about the history of the castle and Martin was very engaging and knowledgeable. Definitely worth doing.Full review by Jennifer G

Entry into the grounds is free. If you want to walk the battlements,visit the Magna Carta exhibition and the chapel/prison and have a guided tour buy a day ticket . ā¦

Wheelchair users can access the Magna Carta Vault and all levels of the prison. With regards to the wall there is a lift to take you up to the walls but only the East Wall is accessible ā¦
Wheelchair users can access the Magna Carta Vault and all levels of the prison. With regards to the wall there is a lift to take you up to the walls but only the East Wall is accessible (the one over looking the Cathedral). Hope that helps.
