I and my wife want to visit here but we don't have a car (don't have a license right now). I see that there is a bus from Seattle to Lake Chelan/Wenatchee. Assuming we take that, how do I move around when I get there? Is having a car absolutely necessary here?

Check on local bus service. I think they probably haven’t one. Maybe Uber or local taxi service also available. You can also use boating for hire to see the lake from the water.

There is a place in Fall City, it’s the river that flows from Snoqualmie Falls. But in Leavenworth I only knew of companies that did floating. Lake Chelan I never saw advertisements …
There is a place in Fall City, it’s the river that flows from Snoqualmie Falls. But in Leavenworth I only knew of companies that did floating. Lake Chelan I never saw advertisements for floating down river. Sorry I couldn’t be of much help.
