A ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia appeared to largely be holding on Tuesday as military commanders from both countries met for negotiations, even as the Thai army accused Cambodian troops of violating the truce overnight.

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia (AP) — Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to an “unconditional” ceasefire starting at midnight, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Monday, a significant breakthrough to resolve five days of deadly border clashes that have killed dozens and displaced tens of thousands of people.

President Trump said Saturday he spoke with the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand and they agreed to "immediately meet and quickly work out a Ceasefire."
