Cedar Point’s newest roller coaster is living up to its ominous name in ways the park never intended. Siren’s Curse, the much-hyped addition to America’s Roller Coast, has become a literal high-wire nightmare for riders who’ve found themselves stranded 160 feet above the ground with only a precarious metal staircase standing between them and safety.

Then, on July 2, it stopped on the 160-foot platform for the first time, leaving passengers to descend down the evacuation stairs. On July 19, it broke down a third time while tilted on a 45-degree angle for roughly 20 minutes before it resumed.

It hasn't been open a month yet, but Siren's Curse has gotten stuck 4 times so far, leaving passengers stranded. How often is the ride down?
