Central Florida faces another searing day Sunday with the National Weather Service placing much of the region under another heat advisory, and conditions could worsen Monday.

Central Florida is set to experience another wave of scorching heat on Thursday. Feels-like temperatures can jump up to 110 degrees in some areas. A heat advisory will be in effect from noon to 7 p.m. This is why WESH 2's First Warning Weather team has declared Impact Weather during this time.

The entire country was marked as having a very high chance of life-threatening heat. While it's always hot during the summer in the Tampa Bay area, temperatures and heat indexes have been exceptionally high in recent days – a trend that will last a little longer as the calendar turns to August.
