With a winter storm warning in effect for Lowcountry counties, forecasters are calling for increased snow totals to fall across the area mixed with ice and sleet. Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Rob Fowler said Lowcountry counties can expect to see between 3 to 5 inches of snow,

Pensacola has broken a 130-year-old record for total snowfall with 5 inches of snow officially reported by 5:30 p.m.

This storm has brought record-breaking snowfall to several areas, according to the National Weather Service. According to the Florida Climate Center, it's been 32 years since the 1993 "superstorm" brought up to 4 inches of snow to the Florida Panhandle.
