Ford, whose real name is Jason Farris Brown, is a former professional golfer. He has released eight studio albums with his first coming in 2008, and his most recent, “Must Be Country,” released in 2023.

Colt Ford announced on Instagram on Tuesday (January 21) that he is ready to return to the stage. The 54-year-old country star shared in the video post that he is planning on hitting the road soon, following the near fatal heart attack that he suffered back in April of 2024.

The country music singer, who had to be revived twice after a heart attack last year, took to social media to let his fans know he is ready to hit the road. “What’s up y’all, it’s your boy Colt Ford,” he said in a video he posted.

Colt Ford died twice in 2024, and doctors brought him back each time. That happened in April. He returned to the stage in September to perform next to Brantley Gilbert in Nashville. Gilbert, of course, was credited by Ford with helping to save his life after he collapsed following that show in Arizona months ago.
