Accompanied by trainers, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts commenced a mound visit for Ohtani in the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately pulling Ohtani from the game after three-plus innings. It's unclear if Ohtani was injured, and if so, to what extent.

"Dodgers say Shohei Ohtani exited his pitching outing with cramps," Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reported. This was just Ohtani's seventh appearance as a pitcher with the Dodgers after working his way back from surgery.
