Police responded to reports of a wrong-way driver on Route 3, headed south in Plymouth shortly before midnight. A State Police trooper found a two-car crash at mile marker 9.2 that appeared to be related to the call, according to Massachusetts State Police Department spokesperson Tim McGuirk.

Witnesses saw the motorcyclist speeding and weaving in between cars on Hwy 195, according to the Killeen Police Department.

Around 2:30 a.m., CHP officers received multiple reports of a vehicle traveling south on the northbound side of the freeway at a high rate of speed, Sgt. Calderwood said. The driver passed the exit to Limonite Avenue and crashed into another vehicle near the Sixth Street exit.

The driver of the vehicle driving the wrong way was identified as Adam Plaice, 26, of Brewster, police said. Plaice had serious injuries and was driven to a local hospital in Plymouth where he was pronounced dead, McGuirk said in a statement.

But that dream was cut short when he died in a multi-car crash in San Francisco where a Tesla driver was arrested. "Jaelen always told Nicole he would protect her and he did until he couldn't anymore,
