Ja Morant, NBA and Miami Heat

ESPN NBA Insider Shams Charania reported on Friday night that Memphis is "entertaining offers" for star point guard Ja Morant. The Timberwolves immediately became a potential suitor to strike a deal, but it sounds like that might not be the case.
Also similar to Young, I've been told that Morant is as quietly open to a change of scenery away from Memphis as his counterpart was to leaving Atlanta. The Grizzlies' decision to canvas the market for a Morant deal is believed to be a mutually agreed-upon path forward.
Ja Morant, just a couple of years ago, was a player everyone wanted to watch. His fearless drives, explosive dunks, and nightly highlight reels made him one of the most marketable stars in the NBA, and the Memphis Grizzlies appeared to have their franchise player.
Jaren Jackson Jr. hit the Ja Morant “block the noise” after hitting a three-pointer in the Grizzlies game against the Thunder.
