French far-right leader Jordan Bardella visited on Wednesday the site of Israel’s Nova music festival, which was attacked by Hamas, to defend his party’s commitment to the Jewish people and to condemn Islamic fundamentalism as the main threat to Israel and Europe.

Le Pen's political ambitions now hinge on an appeal to Monday's verdict finding her guilty in an embezzlement trial and a sentence including the five-year ban on public office.
