Steven Frane Bailey was given the harshest penalty available for the deaths of Kristina Folkerts and Gabriel Harvey and injuries to several other people who were relaxing on the Park Tavern patio when he crashed into them last summer.

The judge who sentenced him said, 'I’ve never heard anything like that in a courtroom. That pain and that loss is going to remain forever.'

The man who pleaded guilty to driving drunk into the patio of Park Tavern in St. Louis Park last year is scheduled to be sentenced Monday.
