A new AP-NORC poll finds that just over a month after Pope Leo XIV became the first U.S.-born pontiff, American Catholics are feeling excited about their new religious leader.

The Catholic Church leader is also linked to Angelina Jolie and Hillary Clinton, according to The New York Times.

The pope joked with the couple that they could "get in trouble" for wearing a White Sox hat because they're Red Sox fans.
