Rosa Fire initially started 12:27 p.m. Aug. 4 in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery four days ago, it has burned 1,690 acres. A fire crew of 1,081 effectively contained 40% of the fire as of Friday morning. However, the cause is still under investigation.

Evacuation orders have been issued as a large brush fire burns east of Anza in the Ribbonwood area of Riverside County. As of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, crews said the fire was still 5% contained after firefighters on the ground and in night-flying helicopters battled the blaze overnight,
