Ahead of Strange New Worlds ’ season three premiere, Paramount Plus has dropped a new trailer teasing how the USS Enterprise ’s crew are going to find themselves trapped in some kind of anomaly that transforms them into the stars of a kitschy sci-fi program meant to “give audiences a reflection of their own world through the lens of fantasy.”

"Strange New Worlds" has certainly done gimmicks before — take Season 2’s fantasy chapter, "The Elysian Kingdom," for example. Or the Season 1 animated crossover with " Lower Decks " called "Those Old Scientists," or Season 2's singing and dancing extravaganza titled "Subspace Rhapsody."

Ahead of the show's return, Paramount Plus has treated us to our first look at "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" season 3. As you can see below, this new teaser begins by tapping into the original "Star Trek" series' campy vibe and fashion sense.
