Veterans were honored at two separate events Monday in Palm Harbor. Curlew Hills Memory Gardens held a Veterans Day ceremony that included an honor guard and choir music.

Several local leaders were there to thank veterans for their service this Veterans Day, including Gov. JB Pritzker.

Veterans Day is observed on Nov. 11 to honor military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Ceremonies to honor those who served occurred throughout the region, including Gate City and Johnson City.
