The Longhorns are looking to end the Sun Devils’ Cinderella story when they meet in Atlanta in the Peach Bowl.

No starting quarterback has a more famous heir apparent than Texas football gunslinger Quinn Ewers, who is backed up on the depth chart by redshirt freshman Arch Manning. Missing some time with an oblique injury earlier this season presented Ewers with an opportunity to watch Manning take charge of real-game action and pair that evaluation with what he sees in practice each day.

Texas backup quarterback Arch Manning said he intends to return to the Longhorns next season, despite rumors he would enter the NCAA transfer portal.
