Mattel apologizes after 'Wicked' doll packaging has link to adult site
Mattel has some wicked problems after a packaging error occurred with the upcoming movie's collectible dolls. "Wicked" dolls manufactured by Mattel misprinted the promotional movie website wickedmovie.com. The misprint, which left the word movie out of the URL, directed consumers to an adult-rated website.

Instead of taking customers to the Universal Pictures' official WickedMovie.com, the URL printed on the back of the boxes leads to a pornographic website, the report said. The error gained attention on social media over the weekend. The dolls, which feature characters from the movie adaptation of “Wicked,” were primarily sold in the United States.
