An Amazon Web Services outage has caused significant issues for a number of high-profile websites Monday morning, including Snapchat, Roblox, Fortnite, online broker Robinhood and the McDonald's app.
Amazon says its cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services, is back up and running normally following a widespread outage on Monday that disrupted businesses, gaming networks, and payment systems across the country.
"We have narrowed down the source of the network connectivity issues that impacted AWS Services," read the latest update from the AWS status page. "The root cause is an underlying internal subsystem responsible for monitoring the health of our network load balancers."
