The Detroit Tigers reportedly have a plan to pivot to should they be unable to land Alex Bregman in free agency.

Signing second baseman Gleyber Torres shuffled the infield, but that doesn't prohibit the Detroit Tigers from signing third baseman Alex Bregman.

The Detroit Tigers have interest in Anthony Santander, possibly as the backup plan for Alex Bregman, but the Tigers aren't frontrunners for Santander.
