Fire and water department crews remain on the scene of a major water main break in southwest Minneapolis. Water continued to pour out of the build for hours, flooding nearby streets and neighborhoods with up to three feet of water in some alleyways.

A water main break at 50th and Penn sent thousands of gallons of water rushing into buildings and onto the street.

The break Thursday morning was near the Terzo restaurant and other businesses. The cause has yet to be determined.
