A couple Alberta Clipper systems will start sweeping across Michigan later tonight and into Wednesday, bringing two fresh rounds of snow statewide. Some areas in Northern Michigan, the Upper Peninsula and West Michigan’s Lake Michigan shoreline areas will see more snow than other parts of the state.
To capture the footage, Voytovick flew his drone over St Joseph North Pier’s Inner Lighthouse early in the morning, according to Storyful. “Lake Michigan and the channel are beginning to freeze!” Voytovick said. “The ice balls are forming and riding over the waves.”
