BEREA, Ohio — Myles Garrett revealed Friday how his recruitment of Steelers free agent quarterback Russell Wilson went on Thursday at the Browns facility. Fresh off signing his record $40 million a year extension on Sunday, Garrett flew to Cleveland on Thursday, in part so he could help lure Wilson as the Browns’ veteran bridge quarterback.

During the 2024 NFL season with the Steelers, Wilson completed 63.7 percent of his pass attempts for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 11 games. He also picked up 155 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground. Following the meeting between the two parties, NFL insider Ian Rapoport has offered an update on the situation.
