Universal Orlando Resort first teased Epic Universe in August 2019 with a post on X that read, “This is kind of a big deal,” alongside a promo photo. A week later, it revealed the official name of the park and concept art in a press conference.

Universal Orlando Resort is counting down to the opening of its fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe. On Monday, the company released its first official look inside Epic, which opens May 22.
