Max has dropped the original Warner Bros. cartoons from its lineup, which our TV critic says leaves us with the pastiche and is similar to removing books from a library.

In 2023, there was a great uproar when it seemed like Max announced that the original Looney Tunes animated shorts would be removed from the streaming platform.

No other streaming service had prioritized history in that way — but all good things must come to an end, and so, too, has the era of classic Looney Tunes on Max.
