Paramount’s “The Naked Gun ” reboot, one of the year’s funniest movies, has made $1.6 million at the box office so far after Thursday previews.

The sequel to the 2022 animated hit about a group of animal criminals who try to become good guys, but this time around, they discover it's not easy being good. Marc Maron, Sam Rockwell and Craig Robinson are among the voice cast. Rated PG. Opens Friday throughout Houston.
