Roki Sasaki's career with the Los Angeles Dodgers is not off to a sensational start. For a young pitcher who's been a dominant force at every other step in his meteoric baseball career, that's both a surprise and a challenge.

Control wasn't a significant issue for Sasaki in his Japanese career, averaging 2.0 walks per nine innings for the Chiba Lotte Marines. This is a Dodgers problem.

No one said Roki Sasaki's transition to Major League Baseball would be easy. In his second big-league start, and his first at Dodger Stadium, Sasaki walked four batters and allowed two runs, failing to get out of the second inning against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday (GameTracker).
