This year's Met Gala was a very different experience for Lorde than the last time she attended the event in 2021. In a vulnerable voice note sent to fans Tuesday night (May 6), the pop star opened up about having overcome her issues with body image in the four years since she last walked the Metropolitan Museum of Art red carpet,

"To me it really represents where I'm at gender-wise. I feel like a man and a woman," Lorde said of her custom Thom Browne creation.
