Notre Dame earned a 28-3 victory over Miami (Ohio) this weekend to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Irish defense had an overall outstanding performance in the win. That unit isn't a finished product yet, and there are certainly areas where improvement can and must still happen, but the good clearly won the day.
