Police say a shooting at a Nashville high school has left one student dead and another woulded. Metro Nashville Police spokesperson Don Aaron said during a news conference that the 17-year-old gunman later shot and killed himself with a handgun.

Police said the suspect sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the school district said Antioch High School is on lockdown.

Two students are dead following a Nashville school shooting Wednesday morning. The shooter, also a student, then shot himself. None involved were publicly identified.
