Tensions flared in Los Angeles late Monday. On Tuesday, teams worked to scrub away, cover up or fade out protesters' graffiti.

A vehicle was seen speeding through the crowd and several protesters were detained during the Tuesday demonstration that drew thousands to downtown Chicago protesting the Trump administration's stepped-up use of force against immigrants.
