Norway's Timon Haugan stormed to victory in the prestigious Schladming World Cup slalom on Wednesday as German first-run leader Linus Strasser missed a third victory on the Austrian course. Haugan claimed a second season and third career victory when he held off two skiers from the Austrian home team.

Norwegian skier Timon Haugan claimed the fourth World Cup win of his career with victory in the slalom at Schladming on Wednesday. "It's so crazy, it's by far my greatest victory," Haugan said.
