STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Officers on Staten Island made an arrest in a citywide robbery pattern, according to an NYPD post on social media.

An off-duty NYPD detective was arrested on Staten Island on Sunday, according to authorities. Douglas MacEwen, 42, was taken into custody around 1:30 a.m. He was charged with assault in connection to a domestic incident,

Denise Owens was in the street, walking against traffic on the westbound lane of Hylan Blvd. in New Dorp about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, when she was struck by the car, cops said.

An off-duty New York City employee was arrested Monday afternoon, according to the NYPD. Michael Ibrahim, 41, was taken into custody around 3:30 p.m. Ibrahim is employed as an NYPD traffic agent, police say.
