NEW YORK – Speedy and versatile infielder Jose Caballero was traded to the Yankees late Thursday afternoon, moving all the way from the visiting dugout. During the Yankees’ afternoon game against the Tampa Bay Rays at the Stadium, Caballero learned he’d been dealt to the home side – receiving hugs and well wishes from his old teammates.

The Tampa Bay Rays traded Jose Caballero to the New York Yankees during their game Thursday, and the infielder left the dugout in the middle of the game in an emotional scene.
