An odd night down at Progressive Field ended the best possible way: a walk-off win for the Cleveland Guardians. The winning swing came from Kyle Manzardo in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Guardians a 2-1 win over their division rival Minnesota Twins.

It was 49 degrees and overcast at game time. A stiff wind was blowing in from centerfield. For six innings the game belonged to the arms of Ortiz and Lopez, but it took a Guards Ball rally in the seventh, highlighted by Bo Naylor’s three-run homer, to make the Guardians a 4-1 win over the Twins.
