NJ officials released updates on the fire spreading across the Greenwood Lake area and another that raged through the weekend in Passaic County.

A quarter of an inch of rain fell on the Jennings Creek fire early Monday morning, which helped crews get some much needed rest. The fire remains at about 3,000 acres and is 10% contained, officials said.

The township of West Milford, New Jersey, will not have a Veterans Day celebration on Monday, as fire crews and first responders battle with the wildfires affecting the region, the local Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter announced.
