The mathematics were still causing a few heads to be scratched after Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, but Declan Rice gave the new Champions League format a thumbs up.
Of those combinations, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Partey has been the most frequently used, with the trio starting six matches together. No other combination has started more than two games.

Sanogo, an almost infamous figure in N5, scored in two minutes against Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates in 2014, with Rice following in the Frenchman’s footsteps. Rice has been prompted to improve going forward, which he’s certainly doing at Arsenal, as his goal against Dinamo Zagreb was his 25th contribution in red and white.
Mikel Arteta made four changes from last weekend's draw to Aston Villa. Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko were given chances to impress while Jakub Kiwior came in at centre back replacing the injured William Saliba. Jorginho was also handed minutes as rumours continue to surround his future at the club.
