Former Formula 1 commentator Will Buxton has made a bold claim about IndyCar after signing a deal to become a FOX pundit.

Townsend Bell, who was recently hired by Fox Sports for its inaugural IndyCar coverage, had to rush back to his Pacific Palisades home to evacuate due to a wildfire, but managed to save his racing gear and is now competing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Despite the uncertainty of what comes next when he returns to California, Bell is upbeat about his new role with IndyCar coverage for Fox Sports and racing again for the first time in three years.
