WASHINGTON (AP) — A series of bomb threats across multiple battleground states and baseless claims of wrongdoing by former President Donald Trump disrupted an otherwise smooth Election Day that capped a tumultuous presidential campaign.
In some states, voter registration deadlines have already passed, but nearly half the states allow same-day registration on Election Day for those who still want to register and vote.
Only private property owners or authorized campaign staff are allowed to remove political signs in California. According to California Business and Professions Code 5405.3, political campaign signs must be removed within 10 days after Election Day.
