Bengals Vice President Troy Blackburn wanted to extend the 1997 stadium lease rather than continue negotiations.

It isn’t clear whether the Bengals will sign it because the team proposed alternate language that is not part of the county’s approved lease.

Hamilton County leaders and the Cincinnati Bengals have officially finalized the terms of a new lease agreement that will keep the team playing at Paycor Stadium through at least 2036.
