Richardson Hitchins will face George Kambosos Jr in this IBF Welterweight Boxing matchup on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Kambosos (22-3, 10 KO) was a massive underdog against Lopez, but scored a knockdown and cruised to a clear victory (despite one judge scoring the fight for Lopez) to win the WBA, WBO and IBF titles at 135 pounds. Kambosos was able to parlay that victory into an attempt to become undisputed champion against Devin Haney in a 2022 two-fight series.

Richardson Hitchins produced a clinic against George Kambosos Jr on Saturday to retain the IBF super-lightweight title, stopping the former world champion in round eight. American Hitchins comfortably outlanded Kambosos Jr in every single round, before dropping the Australian with a left hook to the body in the eighth frame.
