Denver Summit FC will play National Women's Soccer League matches across three venues for the club's inaugural 2026 season. According to the club, Summit FC will host the club's inaugural match at Empower Field at Mile High on March 28 at noon.

Incoming NWSL expansion club Denver Summit FC will play several matches during its inaugural season at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, the Rapids’ home stadium in Commerce City, Colo.

Denver Summit FC announced the signing of Colorado native Lindsey Heaps through 2029. She’s expected to arrive at the club after the completion of her season with OL Lyonnes, which will happen in June. The former Portland Thorns midfielder is a proven champion and she will bring that experience to this expansion side in its inaugural season.

Canadian defender Janine Sonis is set to join Denver Summit FC ahead of the club’s inaugural NWSL season. A proven winner at both the club and international levels, Sonis brings an Olympic gold medal and an NWSL championship to the team as it prepares for its first campaign.

Stanford striker Jasmine Aikey, whom the Summit signed on Thursday to a two-year deal with a mutual option for 2028, won the Hermann Trophy on Friday. The honor is the equivalent of college football’s Heisman Trophy and is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club.
