The Tennessee Titans remained outside the top two of the 2026 NFL draft projected order despite losing to the 49ers.
The top of the draft order is changing by the week, but the priorities are not. QB will be the call for at least a few clubs on Day 1.
Abdul Carter is no longer a sleeping Giant. He showed up Sunday as an awakened Giant, the player the Giants expected to wreak havoc as the third-overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. “I feel like it was a statement,” Carter said after Commanders 29, Giants 21, “but it would have been more satisfying if we got the win.”
The New York Giants are not only the proud owners (for now) of the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, but they also now own the league’s longest losing streak after the Commanders, who previously held that distinction, snapped their misfortunes with a 29-21 win over the Giants in snowy MetLife Stadium.
