A group of Canadian Sikh organizations is calling on members of Parliament to denounce Prime Minister Mark Carney’s invitation to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to next week’s G7 leaders’ meeting.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Friday invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the G7 summit in Alberta later this month, an invitation Modi accepted despite strained ties between the countries.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung on Monday called for measures to stabilise prices, saying the increasing cost of living is causing "too much pain".
