A mountain lion roamed near a middle school in Colorado — and officers shot it dead. It happened the morning of Friday, Nov. 8, and the Greeley Police Department shared information about the incident in a Nov. 12 post on Facebook.

North Texas' biggest feline was spotted for a third time on security camera footage, this time in Plano, wilderness officials confirmed. The mountain lion was likely passing through and will not stay in the area for an extended amount of time,

The mountain lion was considered a public threat and had activated a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents.
