Much has been made of both LeBron James and Luka Doncic this Los Angeles Lakers offseason. The dynamic duo was bounced in the first round of the NBA playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves and then went their separate ways.

Luka Doncic isn’t here for the trade noise. As rumors continue to swirl around LeBron James ’ future with the Los Angeles Lakers, one thing has become increasingly clear, Doncic doesn’t want to see LeBron play for any other franchise.

Luka Dončić wants to see LeBron James finish his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to a report from DallasHoopsJournal.com. James is set to make $52.6 million in the final year of his contract next season.

As The Athletic's Dan Woike observed, Dončić is on a U.S. tour for Jordan Brand which happens to finish in Los Angeles, a visit that coincides with the first date in which he's eligible to sign an extension. This extension, which would officially keep him out of free agency next summer, could be up to a four-year, $229 million extension.

As shared by NBA reporter Grant Afseth of Fastbreak Journal, an NBA agent spoke out with what he believes Doncic should target from a new contract perspective.
