Ravindra Jadeja picked up a single wicket in the first innings of the second Test match against Bangladesh in the form of Khaled Ahmed. This was the 300th Test wicket for Jadeja. He thus becomes the first left-arm spinner from India to tachiueve this feat in the longest format of the game.

Ravindra Jadeja said that while people used to call him a white-ball specialist, he was glad to have improved his game in the longest ball as well. Jadeja became the second-fastest Test cricketer to take 300 wickets and score 3000 runs.
