Most of the East and West should have good fireworks-watching weather on the Fourth of July, but the Upper Midwest and Florida could see storms.

Here's a region-by-region look at where weather might be a factor in your plans, whether it's watching fireworks, cooking out or a pool or beach trip.

By 7 p.m., conditions are likely to clear out for downtown Jacksonville and other fireworks shows, with projected evening temperatures hovering in the low 80s. Stray showers can’t be ruled out during the evening, but by 9 or 10 p.m., nearly all rain should be out of the area, leaving behind a pleasant—if slightly cloudy—night for festivities.
