FIDE CEO Emil Sutovsky took an indirect dig at Magnus Carlsen after the controversial World Rapid and Blitz Championship.

Magnus Carlsen up until recently was involved in a massive row at the World Rapid and Blitz Championship after the World No.1 player was fined and then eventually he quit the tournament due to him wearing jeans.

The ongoing Magnus Carlsen saga has taken another dramatic turn, with the Norwegian chess superstar launching a scathing critique of Indian chess legend Viswanathan Anands role as Deputy President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

Magnus Carlsen on Sunday has confirmed that he will be playing in the World Blitz Championship a couple of days after he pulled out because he was fined by FIDE for violating the dress code rules by wearing jeans on day 2 of the event.
