ALBANY — Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is suing one of the several women who accused him of sexual harassment, claiming that a public statement made by her attorneys earlier this month was defamatory.

Charlotte Bennett, who joined Cuomo’s administration in 2019 as a 23-year-old health policy advisor, went public in 2021 with allegations of inappropriate behavior by the governor.
